Hey! Doing great actually! Back to my workouts, waist is at 34" now so that's great! Just melting away. Thanks for checking on me.

Not much of an update. Down to 188 lbs. I haven't checked in lately, but still making slow progress. Just lost a friend in a gas station explosion yesterday. It was on news channels nationwide. So, I'm coping with that right now, but not neglecting my fitness in any way. Thanks for checking on me.

Thanks! I'm actually doing a program that I got a couple years ago from the internet. I am doing cardio 2-3 times a week, yoga once a week and strength 3-4 times a week, so it's balancing out nicely. I'll be going to the gym starting a week or so, just waiting on new ID stickers for our college ID's. Students at our college get in the local YMCA for free while we are enrolled full time at the college. I like to go there to use their cardio equipment since that's one thing I don't have at home. My cardio right now consists of 45 minutes of non-stop moving around (jumping jacks, running in place, kick boxing, etc). It's a good workout too.

Hey! Wanted to give you a quick update on my progress. I'm 15 days into my program and still haven't bought any supplements. I am only down 2.2 by the scale, but I have lost a total of 7.25" all over from my measurements. The greatest loss was 1.75" from my hips! Still thinking about the supplements though, but I'm happy to see the fat coming off and the muscle building again!

Oh, I stopped taking the Depo about 3 months ago. It's made a big difference too. I really appreciate your input on the LeanFire and the Redline. I prefer to get information from people who have tried the products as opposed to what the comany's websites say. I think I'll pick some up and see how it goes. Can't hurt but try, right?

Thanks again. I do 3-4 days of cardio for 45-60 minutes, a 90 minute power yoga workout once a week and weight training 3-4 times a week for 45-60 minute as well. I am doing everything I can aside from supplements and being at it for almost 3 years, I need a boost. I have gone from 232 lbs. to now 192 over the past 3 years. Why so slow? Because for the past 5 1/2 years (almost 6) I have been on the Depo Provera birth control injections which cause weight gain and a slower metabolism. I recently decided to do away with it and I feel better, but still have the slow metabolism. I'm down to about 2-3 cups of coffee a day so I'm doing better than the whole pot...lol.

Thanks so much for the information! Well, I don't know how well it would do for me seeing as I can consume about 4-5 cups of coffee in one day and still sleep like a baby at night. I have been cutting back, but I also assume there are more ingredients in it other than the caffeine that helps with fat metabolism. Can you buy the protein powder and the Lean Fire at GNC? I may have to go down there this week and see if they have the LeanFire 2 and the protein powder since I'm due for more. The vanilla spice sounds yummy. I usually buy Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey, and have been using Twin Labs lately because it's now cheaper than ON. Do you think the Lean Fire 2 would work for me since I am already used to so much caffeine? Thanks man! I appreciate it!

Thanks for the welcome Brian! I have a question for you. You posted a link to Instone Nutrition on the National Body Challenge thread...have you used any of their products? If so, could you please tell me what you thought of them...quality for the price, etc. I'm actually interested in the Lean Fire. Thanks!

Been trying to stay in shape for years. Now being 32 years old I am very motivated to be in the best shape of my life. Looking for others to share the same "thought process" that with no excuses we can do anything.
More About Brian
I have worked since I was 14 years old and always kept busy. Now I've decided to be a stay at home daddy with my son Noah, which has been the best year OF MY LIFE.
However, this has lead me to a tad lazy, to eat more, and the worst habit of laying on the coach and watching TV.
To battle this I have joined a gym and kept myself as busy as my son allows. This means taking him to the Indy Zoo when it's warm, going to the Children's Museum, going to the park, walking the mall, etc.
I want to be very old to see my boy grow, and to teach him what exercise has taught me:
1. Always push yourself
2. Never give up
3. Everyday you go to the gym you just bettered yourself
4. Trust in God, he will show you the way.
